Lesson plan
13 free specimen lessons, 36 on the old papers
The specimen papers come first: they are the nearest thing to the exam from 2027, and every one is free with an account. Then the old-format papers, a year at a time — 2023, 2022, 2021, 2019. Their subjects map closely onto the new papers (English, maths, science, French, Latin, history, geography, Greek), which makes them the best full-length practice there is.

There was no Challenge in 2020. Each old-format year also had a five-question Mental Test (each question read twice, no working allowed); it is taught in that year's Maths II lesson, with the focus on doing each one faster in your head. The three 30-minute science papers (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) make one Science lesson.
